Customer service has gotten materially worse. Web search is barely usable. Webpages have become less functional and those that still work are buckling under 100x the traffic. Basic computer functionality we've taken for granted has been trashed. Malpractice has proliferated across every industry.

Lots of election administration decisions are best left to state discretion and you don't necessarily want to get too intrusive with federal statutory mandates, but same-day registration is an example where there's just no legitimate good reason to not have it, like how we mandated Motor Voter.

The fact that Sanders is taking advice from Yudkowsky really speaks badly to both Sanders' judgment (which is a composite of his and his staff) and to the state of play regarding AI regulation. Sanders is generally bad at influencing the caucus, but if he gets the lead on this, we're screwed.

One of the really cool things about this case is that one of the lead plaintiffs is Lioness - a nonprofit run by women who did time in sweltering Texas prisons themselves. Then they got out and spearheaded this lawsuit that could drastically improve life for all their sisters still inside.

There is no law that says I need to be able to prove my citizenship to exist in this country. None. I am required to carry no proof. So when you say citizens have nothing to fear, what you transparently mean is that people who you or your goons have decided to consider citizens have nothing to fear.

Vaccines for Children provides free shots to children who are uninsured, underinsured or eligible for Medicaid, as well as to American Indian and Alaska Native children.

The Trump administration is deliberately withholding and redacting documents that legal residents need to prove their status. Claiming they can't find the documents is bad enough. But to turn them over only after redacting them to the point that they're useless is another level of evil.
