The State Pension in the UK is the lowest in Europe at 32.6% of average earnings. Germany 44%, France 58%, Italy 76%, Austria 76.6%, Netherlands 90.6%. Also we only spend 4.7% of GDP on State Pensions. France Germany and Italy more than twice that figure.
