New tech should mean: Shorter working weeks. Earlier retirement. More abundance. More time to actually live. If instead it means mass unemployment while a handful of corporations become unimaginably wealthy, that's not technological progress failing. That's ownership working exactly as designed.

Over 3500 people have been arrested in the UK for voicing support for Palestine Action. Anti-terrorism legislation was used for these arrests. The result is that one of the largest demographics of terrorist in the UK is now elderly middle class white people.
