One thing I find endlessly funny about the rise of AI is that it has revealed that there is a large number of people who believe that the reason they wrote essays at school or university is their teachers were desperately waiting for them to provide a definite answer to “Lear: what’s up with him?”

This is a good illustration of how so much of AI theft isn't indirect (ie, data sucked into a model to train the chatbot) - it's actually **direct** copying, but *enabled* by GenAI. Of course it is: chatbots absolutely suck at creating good, new stuff.

One interesting note here is that even with the above generalizations Chow over performs in high percentage car commuting neighbourhoods in Scarborough. The cluster on the far right and above the trend line are all in Scarborough. Seems like maintaining that will be huge for her reelection hopes.
A graph showing vote share for Olivia Chow compared to % of Car Commuting in the neighbourhood.

The trend line goes very clearly downward as the percentage of folks voting for Chow decrease as the percentage of folks who commute by car increases.

For those interested 2nd is oddly being in areas with high rates of married folks. Chow overwhelmingly wins in areas with higher rates of Common Law. Both of which are probably in part connected to age differences (65+ areas vote more often against Chow, 20-64 vote more often for).
