Serious thinking time on the Meng AUF1. The gun house floor/screens and the gun mounts are light blue. The turret walls and components are white. The gun is green. The auto loader is brown. Shells are three different colours. Plus black,steel and brown for odds. Sort that lot out! #histscalemodels

Hiking out... it is a short pleasant walk although steep.

The house across the bridge. Is a bit of a pastel pink color trimmed in natural granite!

This walker is ascending one of the steeper grades on this route.

One day, perhaps, USPS will feel nostalgic enough to create a stamp of the Autogiro. I know, it was rather experimental...but still. Fun fact...On April 8, 1931, at Pitcairn Field, Amelia Earhart piloted a Pitcairn PCA-2 Autogyro to an altitude of 18,415 feet.

Because you can never have enough projects under construction, I've obtained this 1975-ish Heller bf109B kit and sourced detail PE set with quite vague construction guide and new decals to replace the original yellowed ones. I believe 6-10 was the 1st bf109 to shoot an enemy plane. #histscalemodels
