I’m afraid I must cancel my appointment because of mt sinai’s recent decision regarding trans healthcare.

Like so many people, I am disappointed and frustrated by Mt Sinai’s capitulation to our federal authoritarians. Any organization that will throw my trans friends under the bus will, i have to assume, throw anyone under the bus if asked to. And even if that’s not the case, mt sinai has thrown trans people under the bus!

Trans people are literally under attack in this country, and mt sinai has now joined in the attack. It’s shameful.
