And this is what replaced it, and is what I had when I got married in 1982. It's a 1974 Renault TL in brown with removable hard top and electric fold back roof. Coming back through Chicago on our honeymoon, the muffler fell off so I replaced it with a cherry bomb at a K-Mart. That was a fun car!

My first car was a 1966 Triumph Spitfire Mk2 I bought as a rolling chassis and spent a year putting together. Unfortunately, my mom was driving it and got hit and it totaled the car a couple of months after it was done. Fortunately she only had a small bump and was fine otherwise.

Pole across the street got hit by lightning yesterday. Fried cable modem, power supply to android tv box, displayport to hdmi cable, and several light bulbs. I live in the sticks, so had to order new modem from ebay which may take all week to get. Sux with no Internet.
