a tale of two podcasts in 2026: one reviews COVID coverage in the pandemic’s early early days—pointing out it was well-established even then that kids/young people were far from immune. the other suggests you should send your kids to school during a COVID outbreak because it’s not harmful to kids.

"As early as April 2020, The Washington Post was publishing articles titled "Hundreds of Young Americans have now been killed by the coronavirus, data shows", and "Young and middle-aged people, barely sick with covid-19, are dying of strokes". And this article quoted frontline doctors. It quoted one who said, "Young people who are otherwise fit can tolerate this longer, but at the expense of their heart and pulmonary functions, said Evans, who likened some of the symptoms in younger people to prolonged carbon monoxide exposure.

And an article appeared ... in January, 2021 that said, "COVID-19 has killed thousands of young Americans. This is not just a tragedy for the elderly."

after mourning about my serious loss of art and creativity due to my condition, i happened on an artist on yt that really got through to me and inspired me. their artwork was very captivating to me, and they had this approach that felt very freeing and reminded me of when i was more expressive
