hello i extremely do not have capacity to describe the image, but thought i'd share in case it can bring visibility. Bug is someone ive known for a decent few years to whom ive sent meager help to when i can. I know many of us are in bad places, but if you have a place to share this go ahead.

i actually wrote a lil about this topic a bit ago too

calls for "media literacy" and "critical thinking" should not be about shaming people for not reaching a standard of intellectual capacity but about reminding everyone that *we* live in a world that actively teaches us to fear complicated things, to fear not knowing and unknowns, to turn away from curiosity, and to fear who and what refuses to (or otherwise cannot) explain itself immediately and conveniently.

its about a call to resist the way we are trained to be susceptible to control. the more we fear complicated things, the more we fear processes and unknowns that require trust and active participation and curiosity, the more vulnerable we are to being funneled mis and dis information by people who claim to have all the answers, and very convenient and comfortable ones at that.

sighs so big and so loud. the response i got was basically "we follow an evidence based approach following state and federal guidelines. for more information check out our respiratory illness toolkit and the CDC" the toolkit:

COVID-19 is also spread through respiratory droplets. Infected individuals may spread illness
2 days before symptoms begin and the 2-3 days after. People who are
immunocompromised or who were hospitalized may spread illness for longer periods of time

if one day i turn out to be wrong then everyone can point and laugh but i dont think i am. disability is where we are headed. theanarchistlibrary.org/library/joha... (big cws for sa, racism, sanism, ableism in this text)

"Because, once we are all ill and confined to the bed, sharing our stories of therapies and comforts, forming support groups, bearing witness to each other’s tales of trauma, prioritizing the care and love of our sick, pained, expensive, sensitive, fantastic bodies, and there is no one left to go to work, perhaps then, finally, capitalism will screech to its much needed, long-overdue, and motherfucking glorious halt. appreciate these panels for multiples reasons, but one of them being vash recognizing himself in milly. then we see milly recognizing herself in vash too. recurring themes of "we are more alike than we are different"

wolfwood trying to convince milly to stay behind as they try to rescue meryl. volume 4 chapter 4

vash telling milly she can come with them, undermining wolfwoods attempts to deter her.

milly wondering if all vash is motivated by is rage and bloodlust

did you know you can implement individual action in your life that would actually benefit humanity collectively? stop accepting the spread of disease as normal. mass death and debility from disease is not natural nor inevitable. its important to understand this as fascists take over public health.

panels from vol 6 chapter 1, sheriff reflecting on vashs target practice from earlier in the chapter, and he realizes vash missed all vital organs on the target on purpose.
