Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve Steam player count smashes record, as reviews praise missions
Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve easily topped the peak concurrent Steam player count of its predecessors. Over 52,000 pilots logged on at once, more than 3X the high of Ace Combat 7. Criticisms of performance and a pre-order bonus have slightly influenced reviews.
