CONTAINMENT PROCEDURE:
None necessary. This item does not have any effect unless worn.
DESCRIPTION/ALTERED EFFECT:
An aged, golden Japanese gauntlet with a cloudy blue jewel. The item's base material may be extradimensional in nature, though further study is needed.
The following is a list of the item's altered effects on its wearers and surroundings:
• Increased strength
• Ability to perceive certain paranatural beings
• It may be able to grant additional abilities after █████████ █████
• Some agents report hearing a woman's voice speaking in Japanese when in the vicinity of the gauntlet.
Similar gauntlets have been mentioned in Japanese legends, but the pictured gauntlet is the only one confirmed to exist.
BACKGROUND:
The Bureau was first made aware of the Oni gauntlet after coming across legends of "insidious, dark" paranatural entities, locally termed "Genma," said to be active in ancient Japan. Historical accounts involve the notable samurai Miyamoto Musashi, documented as active in the Kyoto region of Japan during the 1600s. These sources also contained frequent mentions of Genma. He was said to wield supernatural powers after obtaining a strange gauntlet from ████████████████████ in his efforts to defeat the Genma.
Though its existence was confirmed, the gauntlet's present location is unknown.
