Made art for the first time in a while

abstract image made up of mostly reds, oranges, yellows and black. kinda looks like a cave with lots of fire. paisley-ish patterns are super imposed in red on top of alot of the black area.

abstract image of small narrow triangular shapes swirling around. a little over half the shapes are colored light blue, red, white and yellow. The other section looks to be in shadow. those shapes are in the darker ranges of purples, oranges, magentas, and blues.

"I need a tall strong lesbian dom to take me as a pet and take care of me so I don't have to work anymore 🥺" "ma'am, the line starts over there, please just take a number and wait in the queue till your number is called." "but this says '9541', that can't be right, right?"

*sighs* "yes ma'am, that is correct. You're not the only subby trans girl into pet play. Please go stand over there in line. NEXT PLEASE!" "Hi, I'm looking for a big titty goth woman to put me in a cage under her bed." "Please take a number and go stand in line over there, ma'am."

none of the things I have to say to other people feels genuine. I'm saying something because I'm expected to say something, but it's not what "I" would say. I never know what the authentic response would be.

Something deep inside me told me I should draw Donkey Kong today.

A four panel comic titled "Hours, Bananas, Doors."
Donkey Kong awakens staring at himself in a mirror, then stares down at his hand as he notices a strange watch on his wrist.
Staring at his wrist, the watch turns out to be one of the numbered bracelets from 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors from the Zero Escape series. It's Junpei's bracelet. For some reason.
Peach then asks a confused Donkey Kong, "Donkey Kong? Have you ever heard of the Parallel Banana Theory?"

Boycotting Harry Potter stuff is much like boycotting the New York Times. It's an incredibly easy adjustment for someone to make to their life, with almost zero consequence, and yet "allies" will bitch and moan that trans people are asking too much when either is brought up.

this is excellent

stigmatizing Rowling’s weaponization of childhood not only requires personal withdrawal for most people, it necessitates something much more difficult: being a giant fucking killjoy. You should tell people discussing the show that you’re not watching it, and why, and you should let yourself openly cringe at your sister-in-law’s Harry Potter tote bag, and you should bring up unprompted that the onslaught of legislation against trans people makes you sad and angry, presuming it does, and you should do this because, not despite, the fact that it will make you look annoying as hell and may make everyone present uncomfortable. (You probably won’t even get the kudos of looking like a cool ally, because you’re still ultimately talking about Harry Potter. Sorry about that.)

I didn't realize there was a lunar eclipse tonight, and ran back inside to grab my camera when I went to smoke tonight

partially eclipsed moon. about 15% lit by the sun, 85% red in the earth's shadow

partially eclipsed moon. about 50% bright white shine, and about 50% red moon. there are tangential beams of lights artifact on the bright side.

a lunar eclipse. the half that is shadowed by the earth is completely dark. the lit half is not quite a half moon, with the shadow of the earth causing a slightly curved shadow.
