When I was moving a couple of years ago, I threw all 11* of my Harry Potter books in the trash, rather than donate them and risk getting some new kid hooked on them. Which is exactly what it feels like they're trying to do by sending these. *I had 4 in French

I think the driver was given additional orders to pick up along the way. Tracking him on the app, I saw him leave the place, then stop halfway to me and stay parked for 30 minutes. Then he drove to about a 10 minute walk away and park for another 20 minutes.

I haven't used GrubHub since the time I ordered a pizza that was supposed to come in 40 minutes and instead took 2 hours. GrubHub kept changing the predicted delivery time, so that when I complained to Support after 90 minutes, they told me it was still in the predicted delivery window.

What gets me is, it's shaped like a shirt with a collar. Most people with a full torso tattoo have some on their neck, but his could hide under a normal T-shirt. Which is why I thought it was a fake tattoo shirt.

ABSOLUTELY. Every few months there's a new "feature" that adds to the load time of reading or writing an email, when like, "make word on screen" is the most basic thing a computer has to do after "make number on screen."

Obviously games and browsing the internet and things like that are way more advanced, no question. But this computer has literally 8000 times the RAM that Gateway had, and it still struggles to keep up with my own middle-aged human reaction time when I'm just writing an email or typing an equation.

It really says something about the current state of tech that, when I'm running a couple of Microsoft Office programs, it feels like my work computer has as much lag as my Gateway 2000 did in the late 90s, despite it literally being thousands of times more powerful.

Yeah, it REALLY is. Especially because, you can't really grasp how much is happening at their games by watching them online. There's SO MUCH happening all the time, and only a portion of it appears on camera at any given moment. Whatever you think it's like based on the broadcast, it's WAY more.

It was legitimately a great time, and it made me want to get back into the habit of watching more of the games. It's just that being there in person made me really appreciate the people in the production booth who decide for me what I should focus on right now.

Watching online, it's fun how there's always different music playing, and there's people doing fun dances and all of that. In person, it's easy to miss when a game is happening, because there's no obvious break between everything going on between innings and everything going on during innings.

Just got home from Savannah Bananas, and my main takeaway is that it's good the tickets are tough to get. Because going exactly once was very fun, and going twice would probably cause me to crash out from the constant, unending stimuli from every possible direction.
