Mmmmm, baked bean pie that’s round at the top but a wedge at the bottom…

An AI slop image of a deeply disturbing pie that appears to be stuffed with pale baked beans. The edge of the crust goes all the way around at the top like it’s a tiny round pie, but at the bottom there’s a point like it’s a wedge. Anyway, the whole thing sucks and Sam Altman belongs in prison.

If I started using AI to generate my images, it would remove the thing that I like doing, which is the act of drawing, and make my work look like every other AI "artist's work", so my work would no longer stand out, and it would alienate my existing fans, so that's out. But what else?

My favorite part of this amazing clip is that I can tell he’s going southbound on La Brea at Santa Monica because I remember that Radio Shack by the Rite Aid. I love living in a city where Werner Herzog is just driving around telling amazing stories and occasionally saving lives.

It’s weirdly vindicating. Because the premise of the show was that the system had to be secret because there would be “such an outcry” if people ever found out. Then the Snowden revelations came out and there was nothing but a huge collective shrug. Now, we get the outcry. Better late than never.

Did you ever read what they call Science Fiction? It’s a scream. It is written like this:

I had to code and pronounce a time of death on a respiratory therapist colleague. There's a memorial plaque for her outside the emergency department to this day. I wrote and re-wrote my will. I will never forgive these ghouls trying to rewrite history and deny our experience.
