People are so Capitalism-pilled that they see "user number big" as preferable + a reason Bluesky is "lesser" than other social media.
But consider this: I don't want to be in a bigger, angrier, shittier crowd of people. I want to be in the smaller, curated, better behaved and more loyal crowd.
