I decided to decorate my lab PPE and added spikes to my respirator. I’ve always looked the look of punk/rave spiked respirators, but the fact that they weren’t functional bothered me. My respirator is still fully functional! Some of the glued-on spikes fell off after a few hours of work though…

My P100 respirator with rhodium spikes glued on. In the background is my blue lab jacket, and I’ve attached a patch with a triceratops skull that says “make no bones about it.”

seconding this with: back up your art onto another physical device, like a flashdrive or external hd. do not rely on online storage / cloud services to keep your file backups stored and safe. and don't just have one copy of your art saved somewhere. save a couple copies between multiple devices.

I went to a live figure drawing session today. It was my first time drawing a nude model. I had a lot of fun and learned lots. For example: I learned that I’m awful at trying to draw feet that don’t look like paws 💀

I an so overwhelmed with happiness right now. I am so glad I moved out of my old apartment. The rent I hadn’t wasn’t even that bad but it killed me because I only work PT. My new place charges $200 less rent. That is money that I earned that I can keep. Oh my god. I missed having money so much
