i’m so sad my old gym sold out. my membership was $20/month and now they charge $30 biweekly plus $40 to start. i wish all the benefits were optional, i literally just want access to a treadmill when winter hits 💔

i don’t think i’ll be able to handle another dog when jasper passes. i love dogs to death, but he’s my heart dog and seeing him get old is heartbreaking. i was used to his allergy flare ups, but two surgeries in the last year and a possible chronic neck injury is too much for me emotionally

A White-breasted Nuthatch with a couple of rain drops on the noggin. You can see the narial feathers that cover the nostrils, protecting the bird from breathing in from dust and debris.

**Lights Out Alert Sunday & Monday Nights** Birdcast is estimating 300-400 million birds will be in flight.

From meteorologist Eric Snitil

**Lights Out Alert Sunday & Monday Nights**

"Heads up birders, I would not be surprised if the biggest bird migration night of the year happens over the next 2 nights. Birdcast is estimating 300-400 million birds will be in flight. That is a lot, but the pattern could not be better for migratory birds. A massive area of high pressure will turn the low level winds from the northeast to the southwest across most of the US. The last time we had anything similar to this in the fall was early October last year when a record 1.25 billion birds were in flight. I doubt we get to that level, but I suspect the number will top 500 million especially Monday night which looks to be the bigger of the two nights. You can help by turning off those outdoor lights on big migration nights, and the next 2 nights is about as big as it gets."

one thing the ai era makes me miss is really shitty bespoke photoshops you used to get just the lowest effort garbage imaginable made by people who have opened the program three times in their entire life, but it had some charm to it and now they just generate the same bullshit as everyone else
