Update: So much relief on the weather front. 4 days of rain have turned some of the burnt brown grass and plants green again. Overall temps during the day and overnight have dropped about 20 degrees from where they were a week ago.

Rain stopped after almost 30 minutes of coming down lightly. Now it's just hot and humid. Not going to the gym. One of our dogs has chronic kidney disease and wakes me up at 5 or 6 every morning. Plus I have a dumb hip injury I'm trying to navigate.
