She seems, I venture, to be somebody not consumed by any fears that she is not doing a good job or that she should take some responsibility for her party's poor poll ratings. Has she made any mistakes? "Everybody makes mistakes," she says. Like what? "You're putting me on the spot. Nothing comes to mind."

I see speculation that John Curtice may get chosen to lead Labour's electoral reform commission. And I see speculation that Labour want to end up with SV. I doubt both these things can be true. Because I would be very surprised if any commission led by Curtice ended up recommending SV.

Andy Burnham told by Lib Dems to reveal all meetings with owners of Manchester City
* Burnham also urged to declare City stadium hospitality * PM said he would be concerned if owners forced to sell Andy Burnham is facing calls from the Liberal Democrats to publish details of all his meetings with Manchester City’s owners, the Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG), and declare all hospitality he has accepted at the Etihad Stadium. The prime minister was widely criticised this week for saying he would be “really concerned” if ADUG were forced to sell City after being found guilty of breaching the Premier League’s financial regulations, which led to Downing Street issuing two clarifications of his position on Thursday. Sceptical of these numbers. I did the same exercise and found a much smaller bump for the Conservatives. Indeed, working through Kellner's Louth and Horncastle example would suggest he's adding something somewhere, as he suggests the TV result would be Con 44, Ref 37; mine say Con 40, Ref 37.

The polling company JL Partners is unwilling to follow the rules, so should not be in the polling council. Also the Telegraph appears to have lied about the provenance of the poll it published. Even if they didn't know that Reform commissioned it, it was dishonest to suggest it was a Telegraph poll.
