This is great, though the settlement is a fraction of the harm done. During the pre-Prop 22 era gig driver companies underpriced rides via cheap labor & VC funding, to undercut public transit & get customers hooked. Allowing them to operate illegally contributed to our current transit crisis.

There's wet laundry hanging in my living room because my bedroom, where I usually hang it, is full of dusty bins and water jugs. There's a trail of dusty spots leading from the washing machine to the balcony, where I hung my tent. I've used up most of my vinegar neutralizing the dust on my stuff.

They do this in the media as well, a trans person is called an "activist", by dint of existing and saying "please don't treat me cruelly," whereas "gender critical" people, who are in every sense of the word extremists, get gentler words, like "feminist" or "women's rights campaigner" etc.

I was undercover in TERF FB groups for parents of trans kids for over a year. Everyone that claimed parental alienation was a self-absorbed bigot - and many had tried at-home DIY conversion therapy on their children. The same DIY “therapy” that led to Leelah Alcorn’s suicide. Fuck them all.
