I broke my ankles Friday night (I stepped off the porch wrong). I start a new job tomorrow, 16 months after I took a medical leave from the last one for what turned out to be cancer. It will be HOT tomorrow. I’m so anxious. There are too many unknowns so I can’t just be excited for my new job.

I made a big mistake today. I got gas at Costco. It started out great; I didn’t even have to wait for a pump. But just TRY to get OUT of the Costco parking lot on a Saturday morning. Just TRY. At one point, I was pretty sure I lived there now.
