So, eldest apparently requires a Chromebook or similar for his A-Levels. He’s doing History, Geography and Economics, so nothing that would place high demands on a device. Any recommendations would be appreciated as I’ve only ever worked on a Mac so know little about these types of tech.

London's homicide rate hit its lowest level since records began. Yet 40% of the public thought that murders had risen since 2019. That’s the danger of disinformation. We cannot accept it, and to defeat it, we’ve got to put pressure on the social media companies who profit from it.

Do you what would be nice? If people stopped using disablist language like "moron" to describe those they dislike or disagree with. There are plenty of other works to use that don't have their roots in eugenics.

I have huge respect for the IFS. But I think it is unhelpful to sanewash the Reform benefits proposals by talking about them as if they don’t imply massive downstream costs from affected claimants showing up at other services in crisis. And in terms of lost tax receipts from ppl on UC but earning.

There is something very very wrong with our country & the culture that allows situations like this to occur time & time again. The ease with which those with learning disabilities are treated with appalling disregard for their inherent humanity is a stain on our society that we do little to address.
