I did health & social care GNVQ in ks4 as part of my options. It made me realise (particularly from the work experience) that I didn’t want to pursue a career working with young kids (sorry!!) Just food for thought that kids may change their mind after they’ve done a ‘vocation’ at GCSE

School finance leads have known about changes to LGPS contribution rates since April, and say there had been no suggestion that the gov might claw back the headroom this created. "Additional costs or savings (regarding LGPS) have historically been for schools to bear or benefit," said one.
