Absolutely tired of the psychodrama of one country being the problem of the entire planet.

Sad to report further indisputable signs of the coming apocalypse: in the last week I have opened a #Lego set and an #IKEA flatpack, and BOTH have had a tiny but important piece missing. Unheard of in recorded human history. The 2025 version of rivers of blood? Many are saying yes.

I love that Pictionary is now a daily TV show. Pictionary has existed since I was a child, and I'm 45. I guess the execs at ITV have been spitballing it for decades but decided that it was too edgy and controversial, but finally decided 2025 was the year the people were ready for it.

Gentle Roasts Your handle is so close to 'doctorvive' that it almost sounds like the title of a bad
medical drama. For someone who fights misinformation, your tweets sometimes sound like an academic trying to keep up with TikTok
trends! More literature references than a hipster
café, but hey—at least they're all relevant.
Quirky Challenges Sometimes your tweets are more academic paper than tweet, but I guess that's what
happens when you write books! Your responses are like a spicy vegan curry: profound and possibly incendiary, but
sometimes people just want plain rice.

My daughter, who's an ivy leaguer who's well aware of the phenomenon of ivy leaguers spouting BS & who seriously studied computer science made the following observation. (Basically for ChatGPT hallucinations are a major feature, not a bug:
"Something that seems fundamental to me about ChatGPT which gets lost over and over again: When you inter text into it, you're asking "what would a response to this sound like?"...But people keep wanting the "say something that sounds like an answer" machine to be doing something else, and believing it *is* doing something else.

#40 - DICEOMANCER Wonderful game styled after Slay the Spire. Has one of the best art styles I have ever seen. Very cute and addicting. If you like Slay the Spire at all, you need to check this one out. It has a mechanic where you can roll a d6 to change any number on screen. It's cool.

It’s Festive Anxiety Season
A ball of black squiggles stands on stick legs with stick arms and two wide eyeballs on the left side of this cartoon panel. Above it it says “My anxiety”. A vertical divider line is in the center of the panel. The same anthropomorphic squiggly stands on the right side, but it is now decorated with Christmas lights. Above it it says “My anxiety in December.” The entire background of the whole panel is a blue-green solid color. Comic by HaleyDrewThis

What JWST found beneath the Sombrero galaxy’s hat The Sombrero galaxy was discovered all the way back in 1781: the closest, brightest major edge-on galaxy to us. It's been "weird" for a long, long time. And now, at last, JWST has taken a look. bigthink.com/starts-with-...

The Sombrero is the closest bright, massive, edge-on galaxy to us. JWST's new image, taken with MIRI, finally shows what's under its hat.

New Perspectives
Large caption at the top says "Tired of the same old angel and devil arguing on your shoulders? Why not mix it up with some new voices?"

Inside a frame, a neurotic man in a suit is surrounded by small creatures giving him advice on an unspecified issue:

Mr Sad: I think you should lay down for a really long time.
Moral Mummy (a mummy): The only thing of essence is to return to my tomb what has been taken.
The Absence: Right or wrong, your choices will be forgotten along with you, in the end.
Gurt: Your enemies can't predict your behavior if your choices are abitrary.
Old-timey Con-man: Hey, why not take their wallet while they ain't lookin?

The man, excited by the options presented to him, says "wow, I've never been less sure what to do! I am in a prison of choice!"
