Amplify Legal is making a similar right to life claim in a case it filed against Arkansas' abortion ban. The first hearing in the lawsuit is on Monday. These kinds of challenges not only seek to overturn state-level bans, but could be used as part of a larger argument that the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade is itself unworkable and should be reversed.

One ICE source cast doubt on whether agency leadership told Trump before calling off non-criminal arrests. Similar questions surfaced in July, when Mullin briefly halted ICE traffic stops following two fatal shootings by ICE officers in Bidderford, Maine, and Houston.
Trump quickly restored traffic stops after coming out in opposition to the pause.

Huh. The Daily Wire is reporting something that would be *enormous* if true, as since July the majority of all ICE arrests are people with no criminal record. I am deeply skeptical of such a massive operational change, given how the White House/DHS keep bragging about setting arrest records.
