I hadn't really been here much in a while. I got addicted to fb again and blegh, fb sucks and is getting worse. what'd I miss? on my side, I'm trying to be a lot better about my health, and I've finally found doctors I like. I've been through a lot of horrible experiences so this is a huge relief

for weeks, I've wanted a Mr. Rogers cardigan garden flag for my front yard. it doesn't exist. yesterday it hit me that I could MAKE the damn thing. this is probably just an ADHD itch that'll disappear once it's scratched, but I usually don't pay them enough attention to find out.

my preparations are in place... I think I just need to finish laundry and then I'm set to chill for 3 days. we'll be iced in. hopefully we won't lose power like in 2021, that was miserable. I stocked up on shelf stable snacks this time at least.

I didn't give the update. our washer is NOT broke. it was probably a balance issue. we need to adjust the legs in the back of it, which may never happen bc that's a pain in the ass. and also on the upside, our new dishwasher runs great and we bought a Zojirushi water boiler that I love to pieces <3

we bought a new dishwasher last month, because ours broke. it stopped spraying water. we were never happy with it, so we just bought new. two days ago, my electric kettle broke. it wasn't that old. but I'm looking into water boilers, and running laundry while I do so. ...our washing machine just 1/2

I live in the Dallas metroplex, in an area that has a lot of people, and as such, a lot of light pollution. so imagine my surprise when my mom texted me about the Northern Lights last night, and I took a peek outside and saw purpleish and reddish hues in the sky at 11pm.

for anyone wondering how to find out if yours is recalled, call your pharmacy. they fill your 30-day or 90-day prescription *from* the 100-count bottles. your pharmacy can pull the manufacturer and lot number associated with your medication bc it's all tracked in their computer!

I cut a friend out of my life yesterday, for betraying my trust & hurting me, on purpose, probably to spare his ego. I grieved for a day, then felt a weight lifted off my shoulders today. I realize now just how much I had been tiptoeing around him, just how much anxiety I had in his presence.
