Many people in the West still believe the russian propaganda narrative that the Baltic States were 'liberated' in 1944 when, in fact, they were conquered. To fortify liberal democracy against russia's ongoing attack on it, it is vital to confront and dismantle russia's falsifications of history.

Some doomers, influencers, and clickbait outlets like to push the idea that Earth is warming “far faster than expected” and “scientists are stunned, but afraid to speak out.” Absolutely not true. Earth is warming just as we have expected for decades now. drawdown.org/insights/is-...

Is climate change unfolding faster and fiercer than scientists expected?

Norway shows #EV adoption isn't the end—it’s when gas stations start closing. 430 have shut since 2020. Fewer stations, longer detours, higher costs. Convenience flips. That’s the real tipping point: infrastructure disappearing, making ICE obsolete from the outside in. #Disruption #Bettrifications

The fictional forecast as I understand it (my french is rusty) was supposed to be for a "typical" August heat wave in 2050, while the current actual map shows a *record* June heatwave. But the basic message--that we'll see more and more of these extremes as we continue to warm the planet--holds.

Denmark's coal-to-wind transition is one of the most dramatic energy transformations of the past three decades. In 1990, coal provided 90% of Danish electricity. Today it is under 3%. Wind now covers roughly 60% of electricity generation. The last coal plant is scheduled to close by 2028.
