SkidRowe @scottrowe.eurosky.social · 09/06/2026Accidentally tossed the straw from the coffee I picked up this morning. So I’m now at work, drinking my giant iced latte with a novelty Slurpee mustache straw I found in a desk drawer, like the professional that I am. 000

SkidRowe @scottrowe.eurosky.social · 21/10/2025Apple really needs to add a delay feature to their sports app. It’d be dead simple for them to do and everyone could enjoy not knowing a touchdown is coming 30 seconds before it happens because of tv delays. Or a home run etc. Just a delay the user can choose for a certain amount of time. Not hard. 010
SkidRowe @scottrowe.eurosky.social · 23/09/2025Redux is fantastic and just gotten better and simpler. It’s made debugging production issues so much easier. No more trying to repro, we have periodic snapshots of state and just play msgs back. Sometimes we even reuse those snapshots for tests so we never see those production issues again. Easy… 031

SkidRowe @scottrowe.eurosky.social · 03/01/2025Redux toolkit has pretty much nailed all the pain points I’ve previously had with redux, which I still use a ton and love, but wasn’t able to upgrade to rtk yet. Started redoing a very old app with it and it has so much clarity and way less boilerplate. Thank you @acemarke.dev, @phry.dev and all... 0213
SkidRowe @scottrowe.eurosky.social · 02/01/2025Slowly redoing 18yr old vanillaJs app that had custom gui framework (as none existed, even jquery was new) into React, TS, and RTK. Will be interesting to compare app sizes and general amount of code when done. And yes, it’s been running in prod this entire time with very minimal changes since then… 000
