Its all a blur Good day folks, heres a ICM from a recent trip to Bamburgh, I spotted a lone Photographer wandering up the beach and though it would be a fun ICM image to capture. #canon #icm #Photography #nature #travel #Bamburgh #kasefiltersuk
A lone Photographer wanders along the beach at sunrise, the golden hues light up the image. To create an abstract style image, I decided to shoot an ICM image to create a flow to the image, which i think overall adds a nice flow to the image.

No new images for 2 weeks due to some virus so sadly missing out on the share and fs print fun. Here's another shot from Bamburgh from a few weeks ago. #canon #Bamburgh #Castle #kasefiltersuk #leofoto #Northumberland #travel #photography
A dramatic image taken at Bamburgh Castle a few weeks ago. I found a nice pool of water for the foreground, which perfectly reflected the dramatic sunrise sky. Looking over some flat dark stones into the distance where the castle lies, a few photographers on the horizon enjoying this dramatic but beautiful morning.

Definitely worth getting up at 4:30am to drive to Bamburgh Castle. The conditions weren't initially great but the mood factor was up there and that often does it for me more. Captured the flow of water as it spilled over the rocks, with some light bursting through. #sharemondays2026 #Bamburghcastle
A dramatic image taken on Sunday morning at Bamburgh Castle, a small opening in the sky was beginning to emerge, which added some golden hues to the stones in the foreground, as the incoming tide poured over the rocks. Bamburgh itself in the distance.

My Top 4 #ShareMondays2026 entries this week are all great examples of how viewing the well-known world around us in a different manner can transport us all 😊 Congrats guys 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 @alexsavian.bsky.social @stevepalmer.photography @scottjessimanphoto.bsky.social @dammo.bsky.social More in Alt text
I love the tones achieved with infrared and a red filter on the slide film here! It’s been a while since I went to Pitlochry but it’s a happy place for me. And with the composition and toning you’ve also transported me to the East! Perhaps it’s partly that today is Luna New Year, but I am very much reminded of Chinese and Japanese art depicting mountains and lakes in just this colour palette 🥰I am transported to a place of tranquility and warmth in this image Steve! Even though I know just how noisy a bunch of black headed gulls can be 🤭 A frozen moment in time, edged with gold 😍 And a great example of how an often ignored bird can be shown at its beautiful best by the choices made in composition, POV, light conditions and using a fast (used) new lens that you obviously love!A wonderful example of the power of a portrait aspect for a landscape image and use of a single colour palette. The tones are so evocative of the blue hour at this time of year. I really love the contrast between the soft and sumptuous skies and the crisp and detailed foreground, with the silhouetted tree and textured bare field, delineated by the sprinkling of snow. The master of puddle reflections strikes again! Showing us all that while the rain and gloom may dampen our spirits, it provides endless opportunities to see the world anew when the rain clouds clear and stillness adds a calming feel to even one of the busiest city centres!

All Alone . Last year this tree had a wee friend to the right, but a storm took it away sadly. But its standing tall on its own as the beautiful sunset fills the sky with a purple hue amongst the dramatic sky above and a sprinkling of snow. #sharemondays2026
A purple hue of a sunset at a lone tree which is surrounded by a sprinkle of snow. The sky above is very moody and it give the image a dramatic feel.

Surges . An image taken at Spittal Beach last week. A last min decision to head here and im glad I did. The mood in the sky and the whites of the water flowing really did it for me. Loved it, was so dramatic and what a place to visit in stormy weather. #sharemondays2026 #fsprintmonday
A dramatic seascape image at Spittal Beach in Northumberland. The tide was flowing fast from time to time and I was able to capture the flow of the water, as tt surges in to the shore, soaking me I must add in the process. There was a wee brick washed up which actually reminded me a little bit like ET stuck in the sand, which made a bit of humour to the image. The pier in the background with a super dramatic sky above. So I have converted this image to black and white, which gives it more of a dramatic boost.

A dramatic morning at Loch Ard, in the foreground we have a half submerged boat, which is reflecting the sky and reeds that are close by. There are super moody tones as it was an early morning shoot. In the distance we have low fog over the trees in the distance and a small tint of pink highlights some of the sky. A morning I always dream of capturing and I got it in this scene.

Golden sunset near Knockhill race track. I've photographed this wee ruin before but never with the drone, the completely different perspectives a drone can give with that little extra height always makes me happy. If only I had scaffolding or long legs, I'd not need a drone. #photography #drone

Captured the foam on the beach, I have converted to black and white, which emphasises the contrast between the two elements.Captured the bubbles left behind on the sand after the receeding tide. Converted to black and white to empathise the contrasting scenes.Incoming and receeding water on the beach, bit of an action scene, with patterns and textures in abundance.Captured the flow of the water as it heads back out to sea, a few remaining bubbles dotted about the dark sands.

I found an worn out rock along the coast in East Lothian looking towards bass rock. Its shaped almost like a foot. Its a rather dark and dramatic scene due to some typical Scottish weather and mood overhead a small burst of like has given the Bass Rock a bit of warmth, amongst the dark scene. I used a long exposure to smoothen out the water.

A photo taken looking down a jetty towards the centre of a lake and the opposite shoreline. The water level is so deep that the deck boards are covered by the water. The water has been smoothed over with the use of a long exposure which gives it a milky appearance. closer to the camera the deck boards are visible.

The posts of the jetty stand clear of the water and seem to converge in the distance. A sign hang from the first posts and it says that the pier is closed for repair. On the horizon a cloud is little up by the sun casting orange light on the water of the lake towards the camera.
