Negociate what you fucking invertebrate. Negociate WHAT. What kind of negociation is expected after being bombed exactly. What proof do you even have of those weapons you Tony Blair temu cosplayer.

They bomb you and they urge you to "return in the negotiating table". Look I'm not saying the west had any credibility left but lol lmao even. Everyone sees through this bullshit but I guess nobody can stop it so why bother come up with something elaborate.

They have made the world living hell for no reason whatsoever. People will ask why this happened in a decade and there will be tremendous effort to make it more complicated than “they were evil, stupid, and bored”

Yeah thank you, I'm sorry, I'm just so mad I guess. And seeing populations suffer while other people make TikToks mocking them (and at the same time victimizing themselves?) is going to drive me insane.

Despite destruction and death, Israelis widely support war against Iran
The overwhelming majority of the population supports Israel's strikes against Iran, partly because of the nuclear threat but also the hope for regional peace if the regime in Tehran collapses.

I don't think she can, really, but she still does it and it's very impressive and scary. I have a slight intolerance to coffee (one cup is plenty a day, two is too much, three would probably make me sick) so idk how she does it.

Lol I can't judge because my friend who drinks 5 espressos, black and no sugar, before 10 am ALSO wonders if I even like coffee because I pour too much sugar in it.

I'm genuinely obsessed with this book. It's taking me ages to read because I unfortunately don't have the mental bandwidth to sustain nonfic audio reading for long but it's just so enjoyable. It's like attending a very fun lecture every time.

Every time I see American tourists order coffee here I wonder if Americans actually like coffee. (No shade here I take my café allongé with two sugars so I'm not one to judge)

A reminder: in service to Big Oil, the CIA pioneered disinformation to engineer a coup against Iran's democracy and put in power a monarch so hated it gave rise to Khomeni and today's terrorist Iran. Now the call is again for regime change and forcing that monarch's son into power. wapo.st/3HQnbvp

The U.S. helped oust Iran’s government in 1953. Here’s what happened.
The U.S. has not publicly called for regime change in the current Israel-Iran conflict, but over 70 years ago, it played a key role in ousting Tehran’s government.

If a colleague had the reliability rate of an LLM, they would be fired. If ordinary* software did, it would be uninstalled. LLMs require the chat format, because chat makes us party to the conversation. We insert the meaning ourselves - and hold it to a different standard. It's the mirror effect.

What I hate the most I think is the lack of accountability. Whose responsible if someone gets hurt in this situation? One or two pricey legal precedents (including actual liability) would do the "industry" some good.

The interesting thing is that you find the same thing in modern studies of ancient history. Rome “liberates”, while Parthians/Sasanians “occupy”. Rome “attacks”, Sasanians “raid”. Rome pays “subsidies”, Sasanians pay “reparations”.

Twenty years in education and I have seen so many things that were going to "save teachers time" and then it got weaponized into "if you don't use this, you're ruining your students' future" and usually when that mindless zealousness comes around it's less than a year for that tech to collapse.

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.
