If my club had started this transfer window by trying to extend the contract of a known rapist I’d probably be a lot less bantery about other club’s dealings but that’s just me!

A ton to be optimistic about after beating City (again). But every time I get excited a little part of me gets sad about madders again. Could be that I just watched the YT vlog last night, but we'll need a guy like him yet and really believe he was primed to be the heart and soul of this team #COYS

Madders shushing after his goal is interesting to me because I don’t think it’s in response to criticism of him but actually of Ange?

Archie Gray has played 2247 mins this season, in multiple positions. Kulusevski played 2759 mins…. Things worth considering when criticising effort of the players when injury free clubs have the luxury of rotation. #COYS

I don’t see why anyone would be surprised that he isn’t repulsed by a comparison of his government to Thatcher’s when making the puberty blocker ban permanent is (at least in my opinion) the biggest LGBTQ+ rights rollback by a UK government since Thatcher’s section 28.

I swear the club are really risking our chances at buying players in the future, because who is going to want to sign for a club that forces players to play through injury because they won’t bring in any reinforcements. Not exactly an attractive prospect is it.

If you abuse Son Heung-min, you're a bad person. You're unpleasant if you abuse any of the players, but to do it to Son, who has given so much to the club and is a genuinely lovely person, is inexcusable. I don't care about his form or the result. You're no fan if you think that's acceptable

It’d be AMAZING if fans stopped blaming players like Son, Porro, Kulu, etc. Have any of you played a sport competitively? Do you know what fatigue does to your legs AND your mind as an athlete? Stop being mean to loyal servants. The problem is the squad and those responsible for building it.

I don't think many of our problems are Ange's fault, but without any reinforcements this month, I really don't see how we move on from here. A different kind of hopelessness to the end of Conte's tenure, because at least then you could blame the miserable dickhead who cared little about the club 🫠

As had been said ad nauseam, sacking Ange doesn’t fix the injuries. Trying a back three to shake things up with is not sackable. No we are no getting relegated. Yea we are going to crash out of the cups if they don’t get bodied in (good ones not more deadwood).

one thing i’m stuck on is this idea that “masculine” energy means license to act like a chud in public, as opposed to more traditional notions of public masculinity, such as those that put a premium on the performance of integrity, honesty, honor and generosity.

Truly an all time cannot catch a break season.
Tottenham have won 7 of 8 games decided by more than one goal, lost all 10 matches decided by a goal, gone 2-2-8 in matches where the xG is within .7 and gone 5-1-3 in matches where the xGD is more than one

Not sure what the bigger surprise is. Plymouth Argyle, bottom of the Championship, taking the lead away at Brentford - or Morgan Whittaker, the goalscorer, appearing to have grown an extra pair of arms?

Being Ange in is not about being a fan boy or a happy clapper. It is recognising that stability is the only way our club will progress. We have a manager who plays a style of football we enjoy, and it will bear fruit once we get through the painful rebuild. Another manager project is pointless imo.

Ange Postecoglou sack? His Spurs is the BEST PL team since 90s

Van de Ven has played 35 90s for Spurs. Spurs have a +13 XGD and plus 17 GD in those minutes. Romero has played 41 90s under Ange. 20 XGD and 30 GD. Spurs don’t need a new manager they need more and better players.

It’s very weird how people see pressing as purely a defensive tactic and not that a team like Tottenham that has few passers or ability to create from set possession use the press as their de facto attacking tactic. They can’t back off or they’ll rarely score.

Can the commentators even try to mention that Liverpool have made seven changes and had an extra day to prepare for this than us? And even admit that maybe tiredness might be a factor affecting Spurs’ play?
