But every time I get excited a little part of me gets sad about madders again. Could be that I just watched the YT vlog last night, but we'll need a guy like him yet and really believe he was primed to be the heart and soul of this team #COYS 1142 0

samsleeman21 @samsleeman.bsky.social · 28/01/2025I swear the club are really risking our chances at buying players in the future, because who is going to want to sign for a club that forces players to play through injury because they won’t bring in any reinforcements. Not exactly an attractive prospect is it. 000 0
samsleeman21 @samsleeman.bsky.social · 26/01/2025At what point does it become like a safety issue to allow clubs to forfeit matches? I know it sounds silly but I think we’re at a point where we can’t play a match without risking the long term health of a player and, idk, that sounds exploitative. Kind of becoming disillusioned with football 😕 210 0

You're unpleasant if you abuse any of the players, but to do it to Son, who has given so much to the club and is a genuinely lovely person, is inexcusable. I don't care about his form or the result. Do you know what fatigue does to your legs AND your mind as an athlete? Stop being mean to loyal servants. The problem is the squad and those responsible for building it. 183 0
samsleeman21 @samsleeman.bsky.social · 19/01/2025I don't think many of our problems are Ange's fault, but without any reinforcements this month, I really don't see how we move on from here. A different kind of hopelessness to the end of Conte's tenure, because at least then you could blame the miserable dickhead who cared little about the club 🫠 000 0

samsleeman21 @samsleeman.bsky.social · 19/01/2025It’s not just that though, it’s that this squad is playing four competitions currently and experiencing very little rotation. If this squad itself was fully fit then maybe that would be a fair point, but they’re all running on fumes. 010 0
