Thing is, they would already have argued this and it’s been roundly rejected. The appeal isn’t a do-over. It will be on whether process has been followed, the rules applied, etc.

Solidarity with Local Democracy Reporter Eddie Bisknell who has become the latest journalist to be 'banned' by a Reform-led council, this time in Derbyshire. On this occasion a senior Reform councillor took the bizarre step of announcing the ban during an interview on BBC Radio Derby!

Events in Dover earlier this month were viewed as an alarming escalation in far right intimidation in the UK. For women's groups, whose cause many of those men claim to champion, such menacing tactics have become a part of everyday life. New by @everebecca.bsky.social for @tbij.bsky.social

I would encourage everybody to read the document. Despite some redactions, it's not long or complex. And it is extremely damning. From the moment they bought the club, City's owners implemented a scheme to cheat on a massive scale. resources.premierleague.pulselive.com/premierleagu...

Man City conspired to artificially inflate the club's revenues, and reduce costs, by more than *£900m*, and they did so in order to appear to comply with the Premier League's financial rules. This was systematic cheating on a breathtaking scale that undoubtedly provided huge sporting advantage

It will never not be wild to me that the Russians attacked Keir Starmer's home, successfully spread falsehoods about Starmer's love life, and this didn't changed British politics and British political elite behaviour *at all*.

It bugs me perhaps more than it should (and I'm going to have to do it now) that the media effectively has to use the nicknames like 'Danny Tommo' and 'Tommy Robinson' due to the public awareness of those monikers, as I think it plays into the image they're desperate to perpetuate

I don't care what the situation is, two points from these opening fixtures, including two pathetic losses at home, is completely unacceptable. The limp way we threw away a game we were dominating - unacceptable. I don't want to hear about green shoots.

Gareth Davies @garethtbij.bsky.social · 19/09/2026
I’d prefer to see Fernandes further back but there’s definitely a benefit to putting out a consistent side. Hoping Tel not featuring on the bench is an injury issue, as dropping him entirely would be harsh and leaves us with fewer options on the bench
