Over the past couple of weeks I've had Claude grinding to take my 2d browser-based lawyer game and create a real, playable 3d RPG-style game in Godot. This is the result of a lot of tweaking on my part, along with Claude's ability to just grip and rip based on my instructions:

When Zork was released under an MIT License, I bet no one thought an LLM would be used to port it to a language used by law students to make HTML-based interactive flowcharts, yet here we are. Enjoy! www.qnamarkup.net/i/?source=ht... Note: QnA Markup celebrates its 12th birthday in November. 🎂
Screenshot of a retro Zork text-adventure interface with glowing green monospace text on black. “ZORK I: The Great Underground Empire” describes an open field west of a white house with a boarded front door and a small mailbox. Five large dark-green command buttons read “open mailbox,” “open door,” “take mailbox,” “xyzzy,” and “inventory.”

A lawyer in FL got an Order to Show Cause from an appellate court for the sheer volume of "AI slop." Apparently her response is 84 pages!? I've put in a public records request for it....

The AI industry has agreed: assistants are blobs. So I made a place to hatch your own. Five questions, one blob with a personality, a pet peeve and a Hallucination stat. Rare traits run 1 in 40 to 1 in 100. No AI, no accounts, no cookies. blobbu.net 🫧

In all seriousness, this is a startling achievement for GPT-6 Astra. kenforthewin.github.io/blog/posts/l... (This is GPT-6 Astra beating Nethack on its 3rd try. Nethack is the original roguelike and one of the most famously hard games of all time. I have played a lot, and I've never ascended)

Bias is a term of art in statistics that has long been used this way for mathematical models. It's not anthropomorphizing, and the concept is actually really important, because models can develop bias without being fed biased data--there's a whole literature out there on biased estimators.

People are saying AI writing is too perfect to even edit while MS Word is telling me something is misspelled (it isn't) and giving me the exact same word with the same letters in the same order as the fix.

Back in July, there was a report that got a lot of attention on BlueSky that Waymo was more dangerous than NYC for-hire vehicles. The analysis turned out to be wrong and the updated report finds they are much safer. Good that they updated with new data, though www.openplans.org/how-for-hire...

If you ranked my possessions by the amount of time they’ve been within arm’s reach, this pocket Constitution (which I’ve owned for more than half my life) comes in just after my wedding band. On this #ConstitutionDay may we realize the ideal of a nation ruled by laws, not men. No Kings; no tyrants!
A hand holds a small, well-worn paperback copy of The U.S. Constitution and Fascinating Facts About It. The book’s cover features a bold yellow rectangle with the title in blue text, set against a background patterned with the American flag—red and white stripes with a blue field and white stars. The edges of the book are bent and creased, showing signs of frequent handling. The person holding it wears a red sleeve, and the background is a plain dark surface.
