How to get into nature, by Rosemary Mosco. rosemarymosco.com/comics/bird-and-m…
4 panel cartoon
How to get into nature
Woman kneels looking at a lizard in the forest:
Notice a living thing.
The lizard, surrounded by plants and insects:
Notice some other things
that live near it.
Text panel:
Notice the connections between them, discover the wider ecosystem, learn about its histories, and find yourself following links from bedrock to stratosphere, between biotic and abiotic, at scales both microbial and massive, until you're hopelessly overwhelmed by the wonder of it all.
Woman is being engulfed by moss:
Fall into a daze and let moss engulf you.
"This is for the best"

I finally settled on a Waykar dehumidifier from eBay, and I've got to say... among electronic products I've bought in the past few years, this one feels the most like they care about the customer. The design feels well thought-out. It's elegant. I haven't been frustrated by anything yet. The […]

Coding agents reduce software development to a simple matter of: * specifying requirements * verifying correctness and quality * maintaining and operating software you didn't write As we all know, those have always been the easiest, most well-understood parts of the craft, so everything is fine!
