A woman has just died of plague in Russia, allegedly after breaking a test tube in a lab. This article doesn’t specify, but others have said that it is pneumonic plague, which can spread between humans via droplet transmission. 200 people with whom she had contact are now under medical observation.

Bowls.
Remember, your Mixmaster bowls are made of glass, and therefore care is
essential when washing them. It is not advisable to allow very hot water to
four directly into the bowls, particularly in cold weather, or after beating chilled
or frozen foods. With reasonable care, your bowls will last a lifetime.
CLEANING.
Do not place any enameled part of the machine into water. To clean,
only wipe over with a slightly dampened dishcloth, and polish with a dry
towel, Aver washing the Full Mix beaters, make sure they are thoroughly
dry before replacing them into the machine.
OILING.
It is important to follow these instructions for oiling and greasing, to. insure
complete satisfaction from your machine.
The points as indicated in the following illustration should be oiled only once
every three months when the machine is used domestically. Heavy usage
