I said that I was going to play blue the next time I played Canlander, but there's another event this Saturday and instead of doing that I could just slightly update Mono-Red... The pros are that it would be much easier to do, and that I get to sleeve up these bad boys.

Multiple friends have expressed recently that they really don't like cards that put +1/+1 counters on all of your creatures, which has been kind of fascinating to me. I love the action of pouring out a bunch of dice and stacking them on my cards!

Been chewing on Reality Fracture and preparing my Cube review notes. I really like Empower Jace as a set mechanic, though I think it falls much closer to an emblem mechanic than other token mechanics with regard to Cube complexity. That is, I personally want A TON of it, or none of it.
