Just so we all understand, the point to this is to privatize weather forecasting. You'll have to pay for weather forecasts. Private companies like starlink will own the weather satellites. There will be no long-term research on improving forecasts

I get that the Dems lost the election, but saying that Trump will end democracy and not treating him as a threat just because he won really makes the Dems in power look really impotent. Win or lose, if he's a threat, he's a threat. They need to continue to make the case and act like it.

The Department of Education has the smallest staff of any cabinet agency. 91% of its budget goes to Pell Grants, Student Loans, underresourced elementary and secondary schools, and special education. I'm sure the states will manage that well.
