The "AI is coming for jobs" narrative contributes to a scarcity mindset that destroys worker solidarity. I think we can look at anti-trust, tax policy, regulation, consumer protection, labor rights, and rights to housing, healthcare, childcare, and transportation without mentioning "AI" at all.

Very little fanfare in western media regarding this. The latest US (+coalition) deployment in Iraq ends after 12 years at arguably (albeit for different reasons) the most unstable time in Iraq since the height of ISIS. It's hopefully a step in the right direction for Iraq and it's people.
