We are very close to a near cure for two of the highest-mortality cancers we know: glioblastoma and pancreatic cancer. These are both mRNA based treatments which are losing their funding during stage I and II trials. Thousands will die needlessly because of this motherfucker and his lies.

VHS tape flashback in my attic! I was in a children’s theater company when Twin Peaks first aired and from day one we had viewing parties (coffee & cherry pie required) and we snuck Twin Peaks references into our shows when management wasn’t looking. Those were the (viewing) days!

Four Twin Peaks VHS tapes, lovingly recorded by me off network TV back in the day - commercials edited out on the fly (which was an ART, let me tell you).
Just like the best vintage home made mix tapes, these are decorated appropriately with mountains, trees, coffee, donuts, and of course the Black Lodge.
Do they still play? No idea, but can I part with them? No. Not yet.

Like members of Alice of Chains should be scared of the public after doing this: Kept $3.4 out of $4.1 million for themselves, didn’t provide health insurance for employees. When their crew member got cancer, they reposted his GoFundMe and sent him to a charity. They didn’t help him. He died!

The band did not pay for health insurance for their employees, but they did repost the crew member’s GoFundMe page

The crew member did it receive much, if any, money from the band during the pandemic. The band connected him with a charity that helps with medical bills.

Good morning, BlueSky. This is Sammie. She hates delivery trucks. Her least favorite Taylor Swift songs are ‘You Need to Calm Down’ and ‘Shake it Off.’

Happy #caturday! We saw so many cats while in Greece & Albania that I’ve got caturday photos for months. Every castle had at least one cat, including this fella at the ancient UNESCO World Heritage Site of Butrint.

Hey Long Covid sufferers: I'm 6 weeks into a med called Guanfacine, used for TBI (traumatic brain injury) sufferers and used as a non-stimulant ADHD med (I can't have stimulants due to my heart), and it's helping noticeably with brain fog, and helping with executive function. A heads up :)

We brought the nerd squad to the Portland Marathon today. Highlight was the runner who greeted us with a mighty “Qapla’!”

The spouse on the marathon route with the sign of warriors: “Today is a Good Day to Run!” it reads, with a Klingon emblem in the corner. We were greeted with lots of smiles, fist pumps, and shouts of “Today is a GREAT day to run!” (And it was - the weather was perfect!)
