I spun every day during #tourdefleece! 3lb, 2.4oz total, mostly targhee, some merino, just a few ounces of American rambouillet. It'll be plied in September.

I've spun two pounds of Targhee in thirteen days. My goal has been to learn a more regular, not-hair-fine single: I went from the bright stuff to the dark. I've improved! I've run out of everything I dyed for #TourdeFleece, , so either I dye more or stop here. (More is soaking, to become purple.)

I got the antique spinning wheel I found on FB Marketplace last December up and running! Just in time for Tour de Fleece! I'm really excited. It's such a sweet machine. I don't know how old it is--over a century at the very least--but it's like it *wants* to spin.

I absolutely didn't expect them to replace or refund a two-year-old packet of seeds--however a reply that in any way apologized for my wasted money, effort and grow-closet space would have been only polite. They didn't send me any of that, just a cold denial of refund (which I hadn't requested).

I have in the past recommended Select Seeds as a company, because of their catalogue; I rescind that recommendation. In 2024 I bought cosmos seeds from them, and then was too busy with vegetables and my health to start them. I started them this year, and one variety is mis-packaged lettuce.
