The sponsor keeps saying this won’t ban e-bikes but it WILL allow cities or TDOT to restrict e-bikes on any street they decide it’s necessary. Meanwhile, a separate bill passed that stripped local authority to restrict delivery robots on bike lanes + sidewalks More rights for robots than e-bikers

Pretti clearly did not brandish his gun. Which means the government is saying he was killed for legally exercising his right to carry. It’s as clear-cut a violation of the Second Amendment as I can possibly imagine. And we’re about to see the bulk of the gun rights crowd defend his murder.

AVs wont fix this (they're going to make it worse). Private single lane tunnels wont fix this. We need to get serious about getting people to and from BNA. That means buses in the near term and light rail in the medium term. We are not special and we do not need to reinvent the wheel here.
