I do still think this has the best Batman Superman fight. Giving both characters their due rather than just favouring Batman. Superman is treated as this unstoppable force that Batman throws everything at, even Kryptonite, just to slow him down. And Batman uses his brains to solve the problem.

I think the Nolan Batman films did permanent damage to the perception of Bruce Wayne, as well as irl billionaires. Comics-wise, a truly ridiculous amount of Wayne Enterprise revenue actually goes into Gotham. Without that, Gotham basically doesn't a support system at all.

The thing with that same bad Batman take of "Batman should use his money to fund stuff to fix Gotham" is that the people making the argument would absolutely HATE that story. The story of a billionaire using his massive wealth to solve all the problems would be called propaganda by them.
