As always tbh. Almost everything I've seen AI push out across fields has been an object for consumption, not further production. Like my employer made logos with Gemini & I didn't know how to tell him 'even if this looks fine you cannot get this on a van or billboard or even a box without a redo'

As much as I liked it, seeing the Roadrunner's 3DCG head smoothly turn through 180 in the opening act felt so deflating. Leghorn really suffers, too, which is a shame when he's otherwise a real highlight.

Different stakes, but I don't finish a class last year after getting sick and being incapable of asking for help, then after a mental collapse in the summer I didn't register for repeats in time. I mentioned all three of those in the email to a lecturer but there's no good version of that email!

In some ways (not all, mind you, hence quoted thread, worth a read) Jacob's statement was a mature response to an awful situation. That doesn't mean it was a perfect response or not disappointing, because there is *no* coming-out-on-top option. You can take the small L repeatedly or much worse later

I feel this is quite important. People who are (understandably?) iffy on the idea of being upfront with this assume there should be a way of phrasing it that 'works every time'. This isn't that kind of scenario. The 'best' course of action still rightly entails opening the door to "No thank you."
