There’s a guy standing next to me in the queue at the doctor’s office wearing bone-conduction headphones and they’re incredibly annoying.

I just swore at S’s Copilot as it was in the middle of announcing an answer and it immediately stopped and said, “Thank you, goodbye and have a great day” 🤣

Dad told me he bought a new iPad. Between him pricing it a few months ago and actually buying one last week, the price went up two hundred bucks. Spewin’.

He broke the system
4-panel comic by War and Peas. Panel 1: A doctor at her desk says, "Mr. Johnson, I have to talk to you. Please have a seat." Panel 2: Mr. Johnson crosses his arms. "Absolutely not. I know that trick." Panel 3: "If I sit down, you'll tell me I'm gonna hear the worst. So I prefer standing." Panel 4: The doctor thinks to herself, "Damn... this guy's good."

And you know this! You know that a Reuters article about Anthropic's 2025 numbers is going to mislead people who are unaware of how much their revenue changed this year

Anthropic lost $8 billion in 2025 against $12 billion in revenue... but that was before they started pulling in that much revenue /per quatter/ in 2026 as companies started blowing millions of dollars on coding agent tools that hardly existed a year ago

Forget Godel and Turing, this far out you could get what you need from a small excerpt from Clausewitz. Friction in operations is real, dawg, and it will eat you alive. Just ask the last super-smart person who got anywhere close to conquering the world. It won't be any easier for a computer.

I don’t have a ridiculously wide screen so I haven’t had to solve this problem, and Apple People don’t have either, so they won’t solve it in the OS. Can the Ultrawide present itself as three actual screens in firmware? That’s what I’d look at. Then you have a menu bar per screen.
