Great news for Canada. #1 with most trees per person: 94,400.000 Now, lets work on EQUITY in cities.Upper income areas have over 40% tree canopy; lower income ones under 10%, many under 5%. Proposal: for next 5 - 10 years ALL budget for tree planting should be for U-10% areas.

When creating PDFs, avoid using "Print to PDF." A screen reader user may still be able to access the text of PDFs created this way, but heading structure, alternative text, and any other tag structure will be lost. Using "Save As" or "Export" can preserve these tags.

Telling that the oped in today's Globe offering full-throated approval of Carney's pipeline straight-up ignores that Asia -- the market that's supposed to save Canada by buying all Alberta's oil and gas -- is pivoting to renewables. This is a policy built for 1996, not 2026.

When will people stop falling for politicians giving away tax cuts? For most of us it means cuts to services, whether filling potholes or longer hospital wait times, it means less money to support affordable housing, expanded health care, etc etc. tldr: taxes help pay for things we need.
