I understand the impulse, among people who were regarded as girls during childhood, to share accounts of the sexualized harassment and assault they endured at obscenely young ages. What troubles me, though, is the implication that this only happens to people regarded as girls.

The problem is that, as it currently stands, there isn't a center-left coalition in Sweden—the Center Party has repeatedly stated they will not accept a governing coalition that includes the Left, and the Left has made it clear they will demand to be in govt. Expect more drama soon :)
