"So many more people of all ages are becoming radicalized now, and looking for ways to change things.... People are inspired by optimism. So much of the art that has come out recently that does show some sort of struggle going on, usually it’s nihilistic." www.coyotemedia.org/boots-riley-...

I love firemen because even though I called because the carbon monoxide detector kept going off, the entire unit showed up and everyone carried their specific fire tools through our apartment. (It was very D&D) And then despite it being a false alarm, half of them were beyond excited to be here.

Not trying to burst any bubbles; but Spotify is over. They are airing ICE recruitment ads, the CEO has been investing in military/AI tech, they barely pay their artists; sometimes a percentage of a cent per stream, they promote “fake/AI artist” playlists, and there’s major concerns about data use.

Our dog checks in for a little training treat about every half block on her walk. Imagine every time you leave your house, a giant pops an M&M in your mouth on demand as you go. Seems like a great way to live.

If "AI" was as valuable as they say it is, they wouldn't be selling it to you. They'd be using it themselves in secret to make the next Minecraft, the next Avatar, the next Hello Kitty and then they'd sell that to you. They're trying to sell you a sick goose, while pretending it lays golden eggs.

Mass murder of Palestinians has been a bipartisan political project for a long time and it is U.S. government policy as a whole which must be opposed in this arena. And, as we've seen, trying to hold to this bipartisan pro-genocide position is again weakening resistance to Trump (see e.g. Schumer)
