Yesterday I took the afternoon off and went for a pointe shoe fitting. They feel good. Now I have to psych myself up to sew on the ribbons and elastics and darn the pointes. I also tried on some really nice Grishkos but couldn't justify spending $500 (NZ) in one day! I might order them later though.

I have so much going on this week I might just crash out and sleep, or read a trash novel and zone out. I'm fine, but don't worry if you don't hear from me for a few days. Some of you know how to get hold of me if you want. Kiss your cats and dogs from me.

Me: I'm getting more and more tired, but I've been working really hard the last few weeks. Me 10 minutes later: Oh, I forgot to take all those supplements the doctor told me to take because my levels are very low. The ones that I started to feel better on. Maybe that has something to do with it. 😬

It's been in the wip pile for ages because I was going to redesign the pentacle. But I got frustrated and decided to just follow the pattern. All the other stitching is done,and I am about to start on the glow in the dark thread. I wanted to handle that as little as possible.

Good morning @greyhoundfanatic.bsky.social . I started reading your husband's book yesterday. I laughed when I got to the line about Cowbridge, west of Cardiff, in Wales. I presume he picked a town randomly off a map but that was the nearest big town to where my mother lived when I was a child. 😂

Halfway through organising taking up some old sheer curtains to go in the new sun room. They fell onto the floor and Boops decided they are a great place to sleep. Now I need to wait until she moves before I can take them away and sew them again.
