Sometimes I come across an old picture of the dogs and my dad is in the background. Barely in the frame, just an arm or part of a leg, sitting in his leather chair, watching sports and talking softly to whichever dog was in his lap.

You guys won’t believe this but I made more jewelry! The dogs genuinely do help. They keep me warm and settle my nerves and don’t mind my swears when the silk tangles for the fifth time. If you need anything adjusted longer or shorter I can almost always do it: just ask!

I did another shift at the seal kiosk! I got to show people a sperm whale tooth and an elephant seal pelt and some skulls and baleen and all kinds of fun stuff!
